What is the benefit of warming up before working out?
By warming up before exercise, you are not only pumping blood into the nooks and crannies of your muscle fibers, priming them for activity, but you are also warming up your tendons. With a good and proper warm up you can prevent many unnecessary injuries. The key for good warm up is to break a sweat, whether it’s jogging or doing light drills that replicate the exercises you are about to do.
Here are some of my favorite exercises for warming up before home workout:
Jump Rope
Mountain Climbers
Log Jumps
High Knee Jumps
Light Jogging
