Snacking is a bad thing when you trying to lose weight. There are so many myths about snacking and eating late in the evening. If you feel hunger that means you body tells you it is out of gas. A snack between meals will not hurt if it is a healthy snack.
It is a bit dificult to find healthy snacks in the store that are ready to go. Most of the snacks that have word HEALTHY on the packaging are usually loaded with too much sugar or high fructose corn syrup. That's why I usually make my own snacks to take to work. Here are some healthy snacks ideas
Low fat cottege cheese mixed with cranberies.
Fruits
Nuts
Trail mix that you get at the store (no chocolate nugets or m&ms)
Some healthy nut and seed bars
Protein shake
